Outskirts Sunflower Fuzz
The Outskirts Sunflower is a germanium fuzz based on the fuzz face we all know and love, with the addition of an external bias control. Turning the external bias control fully counterclockwise creates a raspier sound, and fully clockwise smooths things out. With the knob at noon, the bias is at the typical setting.
This one-off build uses one GT308b transistor and one GT402b transistor, which were auditioned and matched for their particular tone in this pedal.
The enclosure features hand drawn sunflower artwork applied with gold foil on satin mint green. There are a few imperfections in the gold foil as seen in the photos.
This pedal runs on a 9v battery only. The battery is disconnected when no plug is connected to the input. With a carbon zinc battery, it should last several years provided the input cable is unplugged when not in use. There are input and output top jacks. Battery not included as per USPS shipping restrictions.
